A team of 19 students, three faculty advisors, and two dogs traveled together in Summer 2017. We brought with us a readiness to learn and a curiosity about how things work, why does the ocean do that, what can we learn from water flowing through wetlands, how does change happen. Along the 43rd latitude, from the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology to Winchester Dam, and beautiful places in between, we shared the summer, the water, and the storytelling.
