I worked as a writer and researcher for the Elodea team.
I first heard about Science and Memory in a presentation to my introductory journalism course two years ago and instantly wanted to be a part of it. Enthralled by the idea that I could pair two of my loves - producing quality, meaningful work, and the great outdoors - I knew I couldn't pass up this opportunity.
On a personal level, this experience enhanced my understanding and perspective on climate change and global issues in general. I found myself consistently reflecting on my individual role, and the role of humans in environmental issues. On a professional level, I learned to become more comfortable with complex stories and various stages of chaos during the creative process.
