This summer I went to Cordova looking for wonder and adventure. I succeeded tenfold in the wild frontier. I watched eagles soar, shy otters play, and learned how to watercolor. I welcomed the cold, listened to the sound of rain falling on a tin roof and watched the weather change out in the bay. The turquoise blue glacial streams darkened with spawning salmon left an everlasting impression on me.
I am a photographer, planner, and producer, fueled by curiosity and a creative mind. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with such talented people who inspire change. My job as a DPS Producer is to recreate an engaging experience for users as they interact with the Science & Memory RegionX tablet App.
As an Oregonian, and the appreciation I have for the Pacific Northwest, it has come as no surprise that I consider Cordova, Alaska a home away from home.
